David is a Managing Director within the Willis Re Analytics team. He has particular responsibility for Enterprise Risk Management, including advice on regulatory issues (eg Solvency II), rating agency matters and broader financial and capital modelling. He heads the Financial Management Initiative for the Willis Research Network. During the recent ICMIF Solvency II Solutions Seminar David chaired the session on “Optimising Internal Risk Management Practices beyond Solvency II Compliance Requirements”. The session explored how the investment required to set up an overall risk management framework for compliance purpose can generate value for the long term and here David gives his thoughts on this session and the key takeaways for delegates.
