ICMIF events 2020

Some of the best ideas for addressing organisational challenges come from outside the workplace. ICMIF has a long tradition (since 1922) of connecting members together from all over the world, in a non-competitive environment, to discuss common concerns and learn from each other.

The value of events and learning at ICMIF

✔ Unique face to face networking and learning opportunities with peers from around the world

✔ Opportunities to learn via a wide variety of downloadable virtual events covering ‘mutual difference’ ‘emerging risks’ and and ‘responsible insurers’

✔ Unique courses for senior level staff development and cutting-edge business simulations

ICMIF members also have exclusive access to virtual learning through our webinars. A number of these are planned for the forthcoming months and are a good source of information on key topics for the mutual/cooperative insurance sector.

ICMIF events and Coronavirus (COVID 19)

Please note, we are monitoring the situation regarding the Coronavirus (COVID 19) closely on a day to day basis. The safety and wellbeing of our members, speakers/hosts and our staff involved in our events are of the utmost importance and we will make a final decision on each of the events currently planned for 2020 nearer to their respective dates.

The pandemic has so far impacted our planned schedule of face to face events for 2020 as below:

Advanced Management Course (Manchester) – May 2020

  • This event has been postponed until May 2021. More information and alternative dates can be found here.

Meeting of Reinsurance Officials (Helsinki) – June 2020

  • This event has been postponed until June 2021. More information can be found here.

ICMIF Sustainable Investment Leaders Workshop

  • This event has been postponed. More information will be sent to members in due course.

If you are interested in attending an ICMIF event later in the year, our current advice is to register for the event to be sure of your place as numbers may be limited. We will keep registered delegates informed if there are any changes to each event as more is known about the situation at that time. We would advise, however, that you wait to book travel in case we are forced to cancel or postpone any event. Our aim will always be to postpone an event where possible.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Events Team.
