The 2018 Insurance Market Briefing will provide a platform for industry experts and leading A.M. Best rating analysts to discuss the impact of the prevailing economic and political conditions and rating trends for (re)insurers in key segments of the European (re)insurance sector and the London Market.

Dimitris Zafeiris, Head of Risks & Financial Stability Department, European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) will deliver a guest presentation on Risks and Issues for the European Insurance Sector: What's on the Regulator's Agenda? Malcolm Newman, International Underwriting Association (IUA) Chairman & Managing Director, SCOR London Hub will deliver a guest presentation on Future-Proofing the London Market, Current Issues & Perspectives in pre- and post-Brexit contexts for London.

There are also a number of thematic sessions on current trends and rating perspectives in the (re)insurance industry, based on recent A.M. Best research.

The popular annual Methodology Review Seminar will explore the latest updates to rating criteria and also provide participants with an enlightening mock rating committee session, demonstrating the determination of a rating using Best's Credit Rating Methodology (BCRM) and A.M.
