From thinking about climate risk to taking action

As the reality of climate change is becoming clearer and increased social activism is beginning to influence policy and decision making, businesses are coming under increasing pressure from stakeholders to address climate risks. In this webinar, Juliana Braun of Willis Re will present the six step Willis Towers Watson Climate Change Framework as a guide to examine and address the different aspects of how climate change may affect your business.

This webinar acts as a prelude to a Willis Re presentation on “How well do catastrophe models represent the past, the present and the future?” - a review of the latest science behind catastrophe models and how well catastrophe models from around the world represent current and future trends in climate and natural catastrophes. The presentation will be delivered as part of our series of MORO webinars during the week of 8-12 June 2020 - find more information and register for the webinar series here.  These webinars replace the 2020 Meeting of Reinsurance Officials which has been postponed to June 2021 and which will take place in Finland, hosted by ICMIF member LocalTapiola.
