Red River Mutual (Canada) has more than doubled its workforce and business in recent years and launched the Elevate leadership programme in 2023 to strengthen leaders’ confidence, set clear standards and support a distributed workforce. The programme covers wellbeing, performance management and hybrid team engagement, with materials refreshed regularly and available on demand. Combining in-house delivery with external partners, it has already improved leader capability and succession planning, though challenges remain in keeping content current, managing time pressures and measuring long-term impact.
