DATE OF NEXT SESSION: Tuesday 23 June (2.00pm - 3.00pm BST).
Our next Brand and Marketing Forum will take place on Tuesday 23 June 2026 (2.00pm - 3.00pm BST/UK time).
This session will feature Royal London (UK), who have recently introduced a refreshed brand positioning, "Royal London works for you," designed to make its customer-owned difference clearer, more relevant and more compelling.
To bring this positioning to life, Royal London is launching a new integrated brand campaign built around a creative platform that places customer ownership at its heart and demonstrates what it truly means to be customer-owned.
The initiative seeks to:
- Make customer ownership clearer and more meaningful.
- Strengthen trust and emotional connection with customers and wider audiences.
- Differentiate Royal London from shareholder-owned competitors.
- Drive brand consideration and support long-term growth.
Presenters:
- Julie-Ann Hall, Head of Brand, Royal London (UK)
- Nadia Robinson, Senior Manager, Brand Strategy & Campaigns, Royal London (UK)
For information on how you and others in your organisation can take part in these sessions, please contact Vicky Hughes, Vice-President, Membership.
An overview of the Brand and Marketing Forum
The Brand and Marketing Forum features presentations of leading case study examples from ICMIF's global network of mutual and cooperative insurers. The case studies look at how organisations articulate and communicate their unique difference through marketing campaigns and brand experience.
The Forum also provides a platform for brand and marketing experts to discuss emerging trends, exchange experiences to overcome common challenges, and explores areas that members can collaborate to strengthen the voice of our sector.
Sessions typically run for one hour and are scheduled from 2:00pm to 3:00pm (UK time) via Microsoft Teams.
Who should attend
The Brand and Marketing Forum is open to all brand, marketing, communications, mutuality and strategy professionals within the ICMIF network that are looking to be inspired, share and broaden their own knowledge, while establishing a global peer network to learn and collaborate with.

“It’s very nice to meet others to discuss topics that I deal with, knowing we share both an area of expertise and what it means to be a mutual. I also appreciate getting an international perspective of things.”
Tomas Roos, Head of Communications and Web, Dina Försäkringar (Sweden)
“I’ve found the ICMIF Brand and Marketing forums really engaging. Hearing the success stories of other ICMIF members has provided invaluable insurance market insights from other international markets, which has been beneficial when considering our own brand and marketing activities. The forums also provide a meaningful way of networking with fellow members, discussing key topics covered in presentations and sharing best practice with a diverse range of peers and businesses.”
Olly Deacon, Senior Marketing Lead, OneFamily (UK)
