The Meeting of Reinsurance Officials (also known as the MORO) is an unrivalled opportunity for reinsurance professionals to share and discuss issues of common interest with peers from all over the globe in a collaborative and supportive environment. The MORO is a unique global gathering for reinsurance professionals from the mutual and cooperative sector which meets every two years. The event was last held in Helsinki (Finland) from 3-5 June 2025, hosted by LocalTapiola.
The three-day event includes high level presentations, discussion panels and one-to-one meetings, with a unique focus on how reinsurance issues affect mutual and cooperative insurers.
In 2025, 83 participants from 37 companies in 23 countries gathered in Helsinki to learn from and to do business with each other.
