MORO stands for Meeting of Reinsurance Officials and is a unique, global gathering of reinsurance professionals from the mutual and cooperative sector that normally meets every two years.
In 2022, 72 reinsurance leaders from 36 companies in 19 countries gathered in Wiesbaden, Germany, to learn from and to do business with each other. At least as many are expected at the next MORO, which will take place from 6-8 June 2023 in Des Moines, Iowa (USA) hosted by EMC Re.
ICMIF members can access the recordings and presentations slides from each session of the 2022 MORO (as well as the 2021 virtual MORO) through the ICMIF Knowledge Hub or by contacting Mike Ashurst for more information and the necessary links.
Why attend MORO 2023?
The MORO is an outstanding opportunity to share reinsurance knowledge and discuss issues of common interest with your peers from around the world in a collaborative and supportive environment. The three-day event includes high level presentations, discussion panels and one-to-one meetings, with a unique focus on how reinsurance issues affect mutual and cooperative insurers.
