Cyber insurance has long been identified as a key customer need in northern Europe. In a region with the highest internet usage and connectivity rates in the world, cyber vulnerabilities are a leading concern among business owners. ICMIF member Länsförsäkringar was the first insurer to include cyber and data protection insurance as standard across large portions of their Swedish SME portfolio. Since the product launch in September 2018, they have become the largest cyber insurance underwriter in northern Europe.
