Folksam extends its partnerships with Honda and used car company Riddermark Bil

As part of offering their customers a safe and smooth start to car ownership, both Honda and Riddermark Bil have this week announced that they have chosen to extend their partnerships with Swedish ICMIF member Folksam. The cooperation agreements mean that both Honda’s and Riddermark’s customers are offered a favourable car insurance which carries the “Bra Miljöval” (Good Environmental Choice) eco-label – referred to as the world’s toughest eco-label by Folksam in its recent press release.

Riddermark Bil is Sweden’s largest used car dealer and the company is currently expanding its operations. The agreement with Folksam extends over two years and means that all Riddermark’s customers are offered the chance to take out the eco-labelled insurance “Rivstart” free of charge for two weeks, an insurance that corresponds to Folksam’s car insurance product known as “Stor”. After the free period, the customer is offered continued insurance from Folksam.

“We were looking for an experienced partner who wants to develop with us, but also a player who can offer our customers security through the market’s best insurance – therefore we chose to join Folksam,” says Alexander Riddermark, CEO of Riddermark Bil.

The collaboration between Folksam and Honda dates back to the early 2000s and the extension extends over three years. The renewed agreement means that Honda can continue to offer its customers attractive and comprehensive insurance at a very good price.
