ICMIF member La Vaudoise (Switzerland) has been recognised as number one in customer satisfaction and as best employer 2020 in the “insurance” category.

Now in its 125th anniversary year, La Vaudoise was recently awarded first place in two satisfaction surveys carried out by Swiss comparison websites: for household/public liability insurance from bonus.ch; and motor and household/public liability insurance from Comparis.

The surveys assess satisfaction based on criteria such as competence and availability of employees, clarity and readability of customer information, service value for money and claims management. Over the past few years, numerous projects and initiatives have been launched by Vaudoise in order to fulfil the company’s commitment to providing high customer satisfaction. Vaudoise is currently engaged in a process of digitalisation, but also putting people at the centre of its thinking.

“As CEO, I am extremely proud to know that the most satisfied Swiss policyholders are at Vaudoise. This is a common goal that we have just achieved together,” says Jean-Daniel Laffely, CEO of the Vaudoise Group.

In further good news, Vaudoise has once again won the title of Best Employer 2020 in insurance, awarded by Bilan magazine; putting it among the best employers in banking and insurance for four consecutive years. It also ranked second-best employer across all industry categories.

One of the reasons is that the company has further improved its employee benefits, by extending maternity leave from 16 to 18 weeks and paternity leave from one week to three weeks. Vaudoise has also adapted its working conditions during the pandemic lockdown to protect employees’ health and well-being.
