ICMIF member and rural insurer NFU Mutual (UK) has announced a partnership with Risk Solved to support its loss control and health & safety services for its policyholders, agents and brokers.

Risk Solved provides a software as a service (SaaS)-based global risk management platform that provides real-time risk data insights to insurers, improving insurance portfolio profitability and helping them deliver unique products and services for their customers.

Andy Manson, Managing Director, NFU Mutual Risk Management Services Ltd said: “NFU Mutual always strives to be a great company for customers to do business with, and we are proud of the high standards of customer service and cover we provide our members.

“We needed a solution which serve our business needs, but most importantly which helped us work with members to protect what matters most to them. This platform from Risk Solved does just that, helping the Risk Management function to scale efficiently to inform underwriting, better support our field teams, and deliver improved digital services to our customers.”

“It was imperative that the solution we selected not only supported our current method of operating, but delivered a future-proofed digital solution for the next generation. What impressed us was the flexibility of the Risk Solved solution which we can configure to our specific business needs and integrate with other Group systems. Throughout the selection process, Risk Solved impressed us with their understanding of the insurance industry and how they can assist NFU Mutual to improve our processes, efficiency and understanding of our insured risks.”

“NFU Mutual is part of the fabric of rural communities and we use our expertise to help these communities thrive. The Risk Solved platform will help us do that more efficiently and, importantly, more sustainably,” Manson concluded.

Debbie Baker, Global Sales and Marketing Director of Risk Solved added: “We are thrilled to have been selected by NFU Mutual.

“NFU Mutual set us some challenging targets, milestones and deadlines last year to prove our capabilities. Our application is a great fit. NFU Mutual’s field experts can be liberated from many aspects of data collection activities, making it more efficient and allowing them to concentrate on delivering their expert advisory services. The new service will help NFU Mutual deliver better products and services to its customers, including the ability to consume Internet of Things (IoT) information moving forwards.”
