ICMIF member Rivadavia Seguros (Argentina) has launched a new commercial initiative, “Modo Eco: Activate your Sustainable Insurance”, designed to support the growing hybrid and electric vehicle market in Argentina while reinforcing the insurer’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

The campaign, which runs from 14 May to 31 December 2026, offers customers insuring 2026 model hybrid and electric vehicles a 50% discount on the first three instalments of their policy. The offer applies to car and pick-up policies for private use that are enrolled in automatic debit payments.

The insurer says the initiative forms part of its broader sustainability strategy, combining commercial innovation with environmental action.

Alongside the insurance campaign, Rivadavia Seguros has established an alliance with the NGO Germinar, a civil association focused on biodiversity recovery through the planting of native species in protected areas across Argentina.

Under the partnership, the insurer has committed to planting two native trees for every eligible policy contracted through the campaign. The project will contribute to the creation of “mini forests” based on Nature-Based Solutions (NBS), helping to restore ecosystems and increase biodiversity.

Planting activities are scheduled to take place during 2026 and early 2027 in several locations, including Escobar, Ingenieros Maschwitz, Pilar and Tigre, all in the province of Buenos Aires, as well as the Achala Natural Reserve in Córdoba province.

Customers participating in the campaign will also receive a digital planting certificate recognising the positive environmental impact generated through their policy.

Through the launch of Modo Eco, Rivadavia Seguros says it is continuing to promote a more sustainable and modern insurance model that integrates business development with the preservation of natural resources.
