The team at the International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation (ICMIF) have this week donated a collection of Easter Eggs to a local charity The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT).

CAFT is based very close to the ICMIF office and the Farm provides a variety of programmes for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children from all over the North West of the UK. ICMIF staff who have visited the Farm say is a truly magical place and becomes even more special at certain times of the year such as Easter and Christmas when parties are organised for the children at the Farm. Around the time of Easter the Farm provides fun days for children who are able to visit the farm and each child gets an Easter Egg as a gift. The Farm also sends eggs with the children back to their schools for all their classmates.

Late last year a ICMIF team of volunteers spent a day wrapping presents for the children’s parties that are held at CAFT each year and all reported it as being a very moving but incredibly happy experience.

ICMIF will be looking for more ways it can support this local charity in the future including volunteer days at the farm and helping with maintenance projects.
