Sancor Seguros launches 2025/2026 agricultural insurance campaign providing a key tool for stability for producers

Each new growing season brings increasing demands for farmers in Argentina: higher investment in technology, more precise decision-making, and tighter cost control. In this environment, insurance has become more than just a safety net – it is now a strategic tool that protects investments and brings greater stability against both climate and market risks.

In response to the challenging situation, Argentinean ICMIF member Sancor Seguros has launched its 2025/2026 campaign with a strong focus on hail protection and livestock insurance. The initiative includes a range of benefits designed to make coverage more accessible to producers across the country.

“Agriculture is the engine of Argentina’s economy, but it is also a sector exposed to growing risks,” explained Gustavo Mina, Agricultural Insurance Manager at Sancor Seguros. “Farmers here are resilient. They are accustomed to adapting, making flexible decisions, and finding ways to keep producing despite uncertainty. Our role is to provide tools that give them peace of mind and the confidence to plan ahead.”

The new campaign offers solutions tailored to today’s farming realities, including:

  • Financing in pesos (ARS) at fixed rates, primarily through Banco del Sol, available to both clients and non-clients.
  • Flexibility during the reseeding stage, ensuring farmers maintain control over their agronomic decisions.
  • Multiple redemption and payment options, compatible with all methods available in the market.

Farmers who purchase pre-campaign packages will also receive additional benefits, such as vouchers for other insurance solutions offered within the Sancor Seguros portfolio.

Through these measures, Sancor Seguros says it reaffirms its commitment to Argentina’s agricultural sector by combining technical expertise with financial support, helping farmers prepare for the challenges ahead and strengthening the sector’s long-term sustainability.
