Dina Försäkringar has the most satisfied customers in personal non-life and pet insurance in Sweden

In this year’s annual survey from Svenskt Kvalitetsindex (Swedish Quality Index) on customer satisfaction in the Swedish non-life insurance industry, ICMIF member Dina Försäkringar was ranked as having the most satisfied private insurance and pet insurance customers.

“We are extremely happy and proud to receive an honorable first place in the Svenskt Kvalitetsindex survey. It is great to see that the work we put in is appreciated by our customers and it confirms that our quest to make insurance easy and personal is the right way to go”, says Gunilla Svensson, CEO of Dina Försäkringar AB.

Each year, the survey company Svenskt Kvalitetsindex conducts a survey among insurance companies’ customers. The respondents answer questions about service levels, value for money, product quality and how satisfied they are overall.

In the private non-life insurance category Dina Försäkringar, received 76.9 points out of a total of 100. In the motor insurance category, Dina Försäkringar was ranked in second place by private customers, only 0.5 points behind the winner.

“Insurance is often perceived as cumbersome and bureaucratic, but we work daily to get rid of that feeling from both us and the industry as a whole. Getting customers’ trust and a top position therefore feels absolutely fantastic and strengthens us in our quest to be a powerful alternative to large companies”, says Gunilla Svensson.

In the pet insurance category, new for 2020, Dina Försäkringar topped the rankings with 79.0 points out of a total of 100, plus achieved a particularly good rating in the areas of product quality and value for money. The industry’s average rating among dog and cat owners was 74.0.

Pet insurance is a highly competitive market with several specialized companies and that we then succeed best in delivering what customers want from an insurer feels fantastic”, says Anita M Larsson, Product Manager, Pets at Dina Försäkring AB.

“We have put a lot of energy into having affordable and good products and now getting the customers’ recognition that we are on the right track feels fantastic. For us, it is also important that customers feel that the person they are talking to understand their situation and is knowledgeable. Since most people who work in our pet insurance department have an active everyday life with animals, customers are always met by someone who can easily understand their situation”, says Anita M Larsson.

In recent years of participating in the annual survey, Dina Försäkringar has topped the rankings or placed on the podium several times in the various categories. In 2017 and 2018, it won the category for motor insurance and in 2016 and 2017 it won the category for corporate insurance.

Dina Försäkringar consists of six independent insurance companies with offices in many locations across Sweden. All the local companies have their own local names but have the Dina Försäkringar brand in common. It offers most types of non-life insurances, focused on solutions for private customers, agricultural businesses and small to medium-sized companies. Dina Försäkringar is the country’s sixth largest non-life insurer and has 144,000 households, 40,000 farms and 35,000 companies as customers.
