Swedish ICMIF member Folksam and cooperative property management company Riksbyggen have initiated a new collaboration that enables Riksbyggen’s priority customers to sign up for affordable, safe and long-term home savings through Folksam. Through the Folksam “Bospar” product offering, Riksbyggen’s customers can now sign up for savings digitally.

Whether people want to save for themselves or for their children, Folksam says it is important to choose the right savings. Folksam Bospar is a secure form of savings in Folksam’s endowment insurance with traditional management. Savings are made in a portfolio that is composed of many different asset classes, which means that the customer does not have to worry about sudden changes in, for example, the stock market. Savings mean that the customer receives a well-balanced risk, while historically providing a consistent and good return.

“It’s great that Riksbyggen has chosen us as a partner for savings. Riksbyggen is a customer-owned company with extensive experience in its industry. To now be able to offer Riksbyggen’s customers secure savings to facilitate the step into the housing market feels both good and important,” says Katrin Röcklinger, Head of the Life Business Area at Folksam.

Riksbyggen’s priority customers are offered the digital savings product for their own or their children’s future homes – a favourable offer that aims to strengthen Riksbyggen’s priority programme and encourage more people to start saving.

“We are pleased about the collaboration with Folksam, partly as a long-term partner in a strong company, and partly as we can now offer our customers an affordable, secure and long-term savings for the future,” says Tobias Dysenius, Sales and Business Development Manager Business Area Housing at Riksbyggen.
