ICMIF member Aseguradora Tajy has reaffirmed its commitment to the social development of Paraguay through the renewal of its cooperation agreement with the Fundación Dequení (Dequení Foundation), an alliance that celebrates more than 11 years of joint work to support the education of children and young people.
This collaboration is part of Tajy’s Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and reflects its conviction that education is a fundamental tool to generate real opportunities for growth, promote inclusion and contribute to the positive transformation of communities.
For the 2026 cycle, the alliance will continue to focus on strengthening the comprehensive training of young people at Colegio San Agustín, located in the city of San Antonio. Through the “Emprender mi Vida Joven” (“Starting out in life”) project, both institutions seek to provide students with critical tools, socio-labor skills and capacities for their personal development, with the aim of favoring their future insertion in the labor market and enhancing their entrepreneurial spirit.
Aseguradora Tajy’s support for Fundación Dequení is not limited to an economic contribution. The company also promotes the active participation of its employees in community activities and days, thus strengthening an internal culture of solidarity, commitment and closeness to the community. In this way, the alliance generates a double impact, contributes to the sustainability of social projects and, at the same time, raises awareness and involves the Tajy team in causes of high social value.
In addition to supporting the “Emprender mi Vida Joven” project, Aseguradora Tajy strengthens its commitment to the Dequení Foundation every year through different solidarity initiatives. Among them, support for the annual campaign for the donation of school supplies stands out, through the delivery of a significant amount of materials to accompany the educational process of more than 8,200 children, belonging to more than 21 schools that are part of the projects promoted by the Foundation.
Likewise, Tajy annually accompanies the traditional Corrida Dequení, a race activity of various distances that promotes citizen participation and solidarity in favor of education. The company’s employees also join this initiative, reaffirming an internal culture of social commitment, teamwork and closeness to causes that generate a positive impact on the community.
In addition, as part of this commitment, Aseguradora Tajy has maintained a paper and cardboard recycling programme for several years in alliance with packaging company Yaguareté Cartones and the Dequení Foundation. This initiative generates a triple impact, reduces waste, promotes sustainable practices and allocates resources to educational projects promoted by the foundation.
With the renewal of this agreement, Aseguradora Tajy consolidates a strategic alliance based on cooperative and mutual values, reaffirming its purpose of building a safer, more supportive society with greater opportunities for new generations.
