Swedish ICMIF member Dina Försäkringar has announced it is strengthening its cyber insurance offering for business customers through a new strategic partnership with ICMIF Supporting Member CyberScout and Safestate, described as leading cyber protection providers.

The collaboration aims to provide better support to customers in the event of cyber incidents, and therefore offer more comprehensive protection that gives customers greater security when an incident occurs.

“We feel, like many others, that Swedish entrepreneurs feel an increasing pressure to secure their operations in the cyber landscape. They understand that the world has changed and want to ensure the same insurance coverage in the digital world as in the physical one. We humbly acknowledge our responsibility to support companies as much as possible in their cyber defense, and we see the cooperation with Safestate and CyberScout as an important strategic step towards becoming the obvious choice for cyber insurance for entrepreneurs,” said Mathias Röstlund, business customers product specialist at Dina Försäkringar.

James Wickson, Global VP Sales at CyberScout, said: “At CyberScout we are proud to be part of this partnership alongside Safestate, to create comprehensive protection for consumers and businesses against the growing cyber threats. By offering 24/7 expert cyber security assistance to insurance company clients, we not only respond to threats but can also proactively guide and educate them to avoid future cyber threats. Together with our partners, we are working to improve protection for policyholders and offer support when they need it most.”
