This webinar looks at the journey that Turkish insurer Anadolu Sigorta has taken to develop a social network analysis platform to identify organised fraud cases with machine learning capabilities and datasets integration. The project was recently announced as a winner of a 2021 Celent Model Insurer award, recognising Anadolu Sigorta’s effective use of technology in the Data, Analytics and AI category.
The platform digitises all steps in the claims process, helping claims analysts to discover previously unidentified or unknown patterns and identifying suspicious individuals and claims in the insurance industry through the application of graph theory. Organised fraud detection via a SNA platform has also been integrated to Anadolu Sigorta’s in-house central fraud platform, enabling claims staff to handle fraud processes with an end-to-end perspective.
